Warm and comfortable, the summer heat softened. Daytime temperatures start the month around 23–25°C and ease towards 20°C by the end, with mild evenings and plenty of sun – the islands' roughly 300 sunny days a year are still very much in play.
Rain stays low for the first half of the month, then becomes more likely later as autumn sets in, usually in short bursts rather than long grey spells. Days are shortening, but you still get good light for both the beach and the streets.
