What's the weather like in Malta in June?
Hot, sunny and dependable. Daytime temperatures sit around 28–30°C, with warm evenings, very little rain and the longest days of the year – the islands' roughly 300 sunny days a year are at full strength. It's properly summer, but without August's fiercest heat and humidity.
The sea has caught up by now, warming to a comfortable 22–23°C, so swimming is easy rather than the brisk affair it is in spring. This is the first month where the water is reliably inviting for everyone, not just the hardy.
Long daylight is the underrated bonus: the late sunsets give you hours for the beach and still leave time for an evening wander through the towns.
Is Malta worth visiting in June?

This is prime beach-and-boat season. The sea is warm for the best beaches, and the boat-trip calendar is in full swing for the Blue Lagoon and a catamaran or sunset cruise – all before the August armada descends.
June also kicks off the festa season, when villages across the islands throw weekend feasts with band marches, decorated streets and fireworks. The folk festival of Imnarja, in late June at Buskett Gardens, is the traditional highlight.
